Villers Electric was founded by Scott Villers in 1987 to provide reliable residential and commercial electrical and generator services to homes and businesses in Northeast Ohio. Since then, the company has acquired a reputation for far more than high quality electrical services. At Villers, clients are treated with respect, customers become friends, and trust is a priority.
Today, Owner Eric Bacon carries on the legacy established by Scott Villers. Eric purchased the company in 2019, after the sudden passing of Scott. As a long-time employee of Villers Electric, Eric had the benefit of working for many years under Scott and the privilege of being a part of a business conducted with the customer as its primary concern. Together with a highly experienced team that also has been with the company for many years and the blessing of Scott’s wife Denise, Eric says he is thankful and humbled by the opportunity to continue to run and grow this company as Scott would have.

You could say that Villers Advanced Electric is in its 2nd generation. Many know how we sadly lost Scott Villers, the founder of the company, in January of 2017. Scott was the best employer I had ever worked for; losing him was, and continues to be, one of those things in life that we keep saying, “this just isn’t fair.” Many others miss him too, and as Denise (Scott’s wife) and I worked together through 2017 and 2018, I got to see what a huge impact Scott made on people. Most importantly Scott trusted God with everything he did and it is an honor to carry on his legacy and continue to serve Geauga County and the surrounding counties where he has made such a strong impression of honesty and integrity.
In April of 2019, Denise Villers sold the company to me and we kept everything moving right along. The company was renamed Villers Advanced Electric to signify the next step forward of building even greater things onto the great foundation that Scott laid.
I am Eric Bacon, the new owner of the company. I have lived in the Middlefield and Mesopotamia area all my life. I was an electrician for 5 years before working for Scott for 10 years. Now I have the responsibility and privilege of continuing the great company he started more than 30 years ago and serving the many clients and contractors that have trusted us over that time. I truly believe in putting relationships first, because the wealth of our communities is the people. It is our desire to take on our clients’ projects by operating in an intentional and purposeful way, with clear and reliable communication. In other words, to be professional and courteous every day and in the hardest situations. With our nine electricians in the field and two employees in the office we are achieving that goal.
I carry our state license and we are insured and bonded. We handle any electrical project for residential, commercial jobs and we are a certified Kohler generator dealer/installer. We are investing in new equipment and work vans and with fresh eyes we are updating our online presence with a new website, Google listing, and Facebook profile. We are also under contract to buy property in Middlefield township with plans to build a new shop.
I firmly believe that God has great plans for this company and our valuable impact on our community. Every call, every project is an opportunity to be used by God to build people up. God has asked me to be a servant to my community, to my employees, to civil government and best of all to my family. Only with HIS strength can we succeed in our goals as Villers Advanced Electric.

I was having electrical issues in my barn and I couldn't figure out the issue. I called Villers Advanced Electric and spoke with Eric, owner of the company. I explained the issue, scheduled an appointment (it was not an emergency issue), … More and they were able to diagnose the problem rather quickly and made the fix. They were here for no more than an hour! I realize that my issue was not as serious or as "large" as other calls they get, but I appreciate the time they took with me and the job they did!
